We were all raised on the big, blue “E”. Since the birth of the internet for us commoners (and since the virtual death of Netscape) Internet Explorer has been our window (geeky folks call it a “browser”) to the world wide web. And since it was free and included with Windows, why not? Well, I’d use too many words to list all the reasons, but it boils down to a lack of security and limited features. Firefox is the answer!
The newest browser taking over the technology world is Mozilla’s Firefox. It, too, is free, but is very secure and loaded with awesome features. It includes tabbed browsing (multiple pages open in the same window, each in it’s own tab) and a plethora of extensions that you can add on (for free as well) that will revolutionize your browsing experience. Don’t take my simple word for it- try it yourself!
